What’s Included

Take a look at the list below to see what my WordPress SEO services include and what they mean in less technical terms.

My affordable small business SEO services include…

  • Install SEO plugins – I install and configure two of my favorite and highly rated SEO plugins. These tools play a large role in ensuring we select and utilize the right keywords for you. One plugin is named Yoast and the other I only share with my clients because it’s my key resource for SEO and I don’t want my competitors knowing about it.
  • Research relative keywords – I’ll do some research to find keywords that are relative to your industry that help web visitors find you.
  • Add keywords strategically – When I optimize your website, I’ll strategically add the keywords I found during the research process to your pages. I use SEO WordPress plugins (mentioned above) to make sure the keywords are used properly.
  • Create page specific keyword, description and title meta tags – Every page on your site should have a unique keyword, description and title meta tag. Although these tags are hidden in the code of your page, search engines pull the text from that code to display in the search results. So I customize them for you.
  • Convert to HTTPS/SSL – Search engines put higher value on websites that are secure. After I activate the SSL provided by your hosting site, you’ll see a green lock appear by your URL which means it’s secure.
  • Add Google Analytics Tracking Code – This tracking code gives you deep insight about how your site is performing.
  • Setup Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools – I’ll sign your site up for these free services that gives you stats about what keywords you are being found by and more.
  • Submit your sitemap to Google and Bing – I submit your site to two of the major search engines to speed up the process of you getting found and indexed.
  • Review your sites’s content – I scan your pages for proper heading structure and readability.
  • Create breadcrumb linking structure – When you have medium to large site, breadcrumb links make it easier for visitors to navigate through your site. They’re like a digital path for your website visitors to follow. This type of linking is also valued by search engines.
  • Add social media share and follow buttons – Share buttons are the virtual version of word of mouth referrals. Follow buttons allow users to find your business’ social media profiles with just one click. Both types of buttons will be placed on your site.
  • Add image alt text – This helps make your page’s image both SEO friendly and accessible to users who are visually impaired.
  • Recommend backlinking resources – Backlinking gives your site some credit. I will give you instructions about how to create a backlink and 3-5 specific websites where you can do it.
  • Local meta tags – This type of tag gives search engines a geographical location of your business. You’ll want this if your customers are mainly local.
