What’s Included

Take a look at the list below to see what my WordPress SEO services include and what they mean in less technical terms. If you still have a question about my services, please contact me.

My affordable small business SEO services include…

  • Install SEO plugins – I install and configure two of my favorite and highly rated SEO plugins. These tools play a large role in ensuring we select and utilize the right keywords for you. One plugin is named Yoast and the other… I only share with my clients because it’s my key resource for SEO and I don’t want my competitors to know about it.
  • Research relative keywords – I don’t pick keywords at random. I use a special research tool to find winnable keywords – ones you have a better chance at getting ranked for – based on data that’s relative to your industry.
  • Add keywords strategically – When I optimize your website, I strategically add the keywords to your headings and body text. To ensure the keyword-to-text ratio is right, I utilize Yoast SEO to keep count of how many times a keyword is used on a singular page.
  • Create page title and description meta tags – Every page on your site should be written for a unique keyword and have a customized description and title meta tag. Although these tags are hidden in the code of your page, search engines read that code to know what to display in the search results. So I customize them for you.
  • Convert to HTTPS/SSL – Search engines put a higher value on secure websites. After I activate the SSL provided by your hosting site, you’ll see a green lock appear by your URL, which means it’s secure.
  • Add Google Analytics Tracking Code – This free tool allows you to track the growth/traffic of your website and collect valuable statistics about who visits your site.
  • Setup Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools – These two free tools help you track the traffic coming to your site from the search engines and let you know what pages are indexed.
  • Submit your sitemap to Google and Bing – I submit your site to two of the major search engines to speed up the process of you getting found and indexed.
  • Review your site’s content – I check your pages for proper heading structure and readability.
  • Create breadcrumb linking structure – When you have a medium to large site, breadcrumb links make it easier for visitors to navigate through your site. They’re like a digital path for your website visitors to follow. This type of linking is also valued by search engines.
  • Add social media share and follow buttons – Share buttons are the virtual version of word of mouth referrals. Follow buttons allow users to find your business’ social media profiles with just one click. Both types of buttons are placed on your site.
  • Add image alt text – This makes your images both SEO friendly and accessible to users who are visually impaired.
  • Local meta tags – These type of tags give search engines a geographical location of your business. You’ll want this if your customers are primarily local.
